EXPLANATION OF NEW REFRIGERANT
Schedule of Curtailment for HCFC Refrigerant
Set 100% for 5,560ODP TON at 1996.CFC Refrigerants, which comparatively have higher Ozone Depletion Potential, was already abolished in 1995. HCFC-22 shall wholly be abolished in 2020.

is scheduled to be used mainly in future.
HCFC-410A, mainly for room type air conditioners, compared with HCFC-22, the energy efficiency is similar, but the pressure is approx. 1.6times higher (at the same refrigerant temperature)HCFC-407C, mainly for package air conditioners. The pressure characteristic and the energy efficiency are similar to those of HCFC-22.

Characteristics of HFC-410A
HFC-410A is suspected case of azeotropic mixed refrigerant composed of HFC-32 and HFC-125(2 ingredients)
Suspected case of azeotrope means that 2 kinds of ingredient have similar boiling point and the composition change is extremely small against an aspect change. Accordingly, HFC-410A can be treated almost similarly as HCFC-22 due to its small change of refrigerant composition even when the refrigerant is leaked from piping.
Characteristics of HFC-407C
HFC-407C is non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant composed of HFC-32, -125 and -134a (3 ingredients).
Non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant is mixed with refrigerants which will be leaked ahead and lots of HFC-134a will remain inside of unit, thus it causes a lack of capacity and or a trouble on unit when the refrigerant is leaked from piping.
